What people say about us

S.KALYANASUNDARAM
Chheda Nagar Education Society which established Modern English High School in Chheda Nagar, Mumbai is associated with The HEAD Foundation since its inception. In a total strength of around 1700 students, there is a significant number of students coming from economically challenged families from the neighbourhood areas. When we instituted a scholarship scheme four years ago to award meritorious students from these families, we could get a very positive response from several individuals and institutions. The HEAD Foundation took the initiative and adopted few students under the scheme. With trustees of The HEAD Foundation having several years of corporate experience, they take keen interest in the overall development of students' personality by conducting workshops, seminars and counselling. The also lend a helping hand in the infrastructure development of the school. It is significant that both of us have a common cause that no child should be deprived of education due to financial constraints. We are privileged to be associated with The HEAD Foundation and wish them all success in their endeavours.

I write this to let you know how deeply I appreciate the opportunity given to me by HEAD to conduct the “Study Skills Workshop” for Grade X students of the Modern English High School, Cheddanagar, Chembur, Mumbai. The simple brief you had given me was to communicate with the children in a simple, jargon-free way, the joy of learning in an organized manner, to make studying less of a stressful chore and more a fulfilling experience. The fact that this is the second year we are doing this program, I hope, is a confirmation that I been able to effectively carry out your brief to the satisfaction of both the students and the school authorities! Deeply appreciate the down-to-earth manner and sensitivity of your approach to the welfare of the children and look forward to a continued and productive association with the Trust.
