In India, we have crossed the 6 million mark with around 93,000 deaths. Even now there is no clear light at the end of the tunnel with around 93,000 new cases added in just 24 hours on September 25

Apart from the heroic role of front-line medical personnel and the Government’s handling of the pandemic, it has been the spontaneous and tremendous response of people like you, which enabled us to tackle both the medical and collateral damage caused by the pandemic.

What HEAD has done so far:
 Provided 2 Nos ECG Machines & 200 Nos. Disposable Bedsheets to the Veer Savarkar Municipal General Hospital, Mulund East, Mumbai when the Covid facility was being set up.
 Provided 200 Personal Protection Kits & 200 N-95 Masks to the Maharashtra Resident Doctors Association (MARD) at LTMG (Sion) Hospital. This was at an early stage of the battle when contributions were critical to the well-being of Doctors & Health personnel on the frontline.
 Provided 50 Kits containing Gown/Gloves/Shoe Covers/Disposal Bag/ Goggles and N95 mask to Dr. Mukund Jagannathan, Head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at LTMG.
 Nearly 8400 meal packets were delivered through another good Samaritan, Ms. Sulaksha Shetty of
Tiffinsnthots to poor labour, unemployed and the needy over 42 days between 8th April and 19th May 2020 at the height of the migrant crisis.

 Around 600 families were provided a week’s rations through the Ashana Trust.
 Through the selfless Dr. Suja Moorthy, Paediatrician, HEAD Foundation reached out to desperate staff in Municipal Health Posts with 9500 Gloves, 75 litres of Sanitizer, 1000 3 Ply & 800 N-95 Face Masks from May till July 2020.
