Vishwanath Venkataram, graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (erstwhile BUDCT) in the year 1977 and also completed a Diploma Course in Financial Management, DFM (B.U).
During the course of his career, he was associated with Hindustan Petroleum Lube Refinery Ltd, Dalal Consultants and Engineers Pvt. Ltd., Tata Consulting Engineers and ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (erstwhile Uhde India Pvt. Ltd.), from where he finally retired as General Manager in 2015. He is considered an expert in the Marketing of Technologies and Projects in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Fertilizer Industries. Presently, he is a consultant for INEOS Technologies Ltd, an Anglo-Swiss Company.
He is happily married to Kalyani, who is a retired senior government officer in the Department of Atomic Energy. They have a son and a daughter.
